A Washington-Oregon native, Richard Bullock credits his strong interest in the arts to his ten years as a student at the Portland Museum Art School (age 7 thru 17) where he was deeply influenced by his many hours each week in the museum’s galleries and working in its studio classrooms with first rate artist/teachers. After high school graduation and an influential term in the UK with the Santa Barbara Cultural Affairs Society, he began his studies in Art History at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. These included a term studying African and Oceanic arts at the University of Hawaii and a return to the UK where he worked at the British House of Commons in the government of Prime Minister Edward Heath.
After some travel time, Richard returned to Oregon where he served in the State Senate as Chair of the Committee on Trade and Economic Development and was appointed to the National Conference of State Legislature’s Committee on the States & The Arts. During this time he served on numerous arts and education related boards.
For the past 25 years, Richard has focused on product design for the architectural and interior design industries. He has designed and manufactured product for a long list of high-end retailers and owned a showroom at The Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles. With his partner of 22 years, Richard Cannon, he has participated as a designer for ten years in the distinguished Pasadena Showcase House, an annual benefit for the Los Angeles Junior Philharmonic Orchestra as well as several other regional showcases. Their work has been published in most major design periodicals and in a half dozen hardbound design books. Their hand made paper wall covering lines, now the primary focus of their business, are represented internationally to-the-trade and have received a long list of design awards. Richard has served on the boards of DACA & DIFFA/LA. He is a member of the Museum of Modern Art, the Seattle Art Museum, The Williams Club NYC, and Seattle Print Arts among other organizations.

A Canadian native, Sandra Jarvis was educated at the University of British Columbia. Following a few years of teaching elementary school, Sandra joined American Express where she became a Director in the Business Development Division.
During her career with American express, Sandra traveled extensively, allowing her to explore her passion for art by visiting galleries and museums worldwide. Her background has translated well as she has moved into her more recent role as owner of Museo Gallery in Langley.
Mixing traditional shows such as the now highly anticipated and well regarded annual “Whidbey Island Glass Invitational” with unconventional exhibits such as “On the Road” which featured motorcycles in the gallery and “Outside the Lines” which focused on street art and graffiti, she has brought excitement and vitality to the arts scene on Whidbey island. She also developed the gallery’s highly sophisticated annual contemporary Basket exhibition and is a collector of Native American baskets from the Pacific Northwest. Her willingness to open her gallery doors to new concepts and new artists while maintaining a high level of workmanship and artistic sophistication has not gone un-noticed by Seattle and regional critics, curators, collectors and editors.
Sandra plays an active role in local community affairs as a member of the Chamber of Commerce and the Business Owners Association. She is also a member of several Seattle and Bellevue arts organizations.
